The initiative aims to expand digital access across financial services, healthcare, education, and public welfare delivery systems, with a special focus on rural and remote regions.

Addressing policymakers and industry leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that India’s digital platforms have already transformed how citizens interact with the government. From direct benefit transfers to instant digital payments and paperless documentation, DPI has reduced corruption, improved transparency, and accelerated service delivery at scale.
