Full Details:
A shocking and disturbing case has surfaced from Hathras, where a dismissed constable carried out a brutal crime to evade arrest.
The accused, Ramveer Singh, originally from Mainpuri district’s Baghauni village, was dismissed from service in 2013 due to his criminal activities. Multiple cases had been registered against him across the state, and police were actively searching for him in connection with serious charges.
To escape arrest, Ramveer allegedly hatched a horrifying plan. He kidnapped an elderly beggar from near a railway track, placed his own Aadhaar and PAN card beside the victim, and took him into a forested area. There, he burned the man alive to create the illusion that he himself had died.
Initially, when police recovered the burnt body along with Ramveer’s identification documents, they believed he was dead. However, during the incident, Ramveer also suffered burn injuries and secretly got himself admitted to a hospital.
As the investigation progressed, inconsistencies emerged. Police discovered that Ramveer was actually alive and undergoing treatment. He was then arrested from the hospital. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime, admitting that he killed the beggar to mislead authorities and avoid being caught.
