News:
India has launched a nationwide AI-powered health screening program aimed at early detection of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart conditions, and cancer. The initiative, supported by the Ministry of Health, will use artificial intelligence tools to analyze medical data from hospitals and primary health centers across the country.

According to health officials, the program will initially focus on rural and semi-urban areas where access to specialist doctors is limited. AI systems will help identify high-risk patients at an early stage, enabling timely treatment and reducing healthcare costs.

Experts from World Health Organization have praised the move, calling it a major step toward strengthening preventive healthcare. Leading institutions like AIIMS will assist in training doctors and healthcare workers to use AI tools effectively.

The government believes this initiative will significantly improve India’s healthcare outcomes and support the vision of affordable, technology-driven medical services for all citizens.
